Who we are
Havok Labs is a pod of senior engineers, designers, and automation specialists who were done watching “custom” software get billed like theater. We grew up shipping production systems, not pitch decks, and we still believe engineering should be transparent, measurable, and fast.
What we refuse
We’re tired of agencies screwing people over. Simple site edits sold like luxury purchases. WordPress retainers priced like season tickets. Slides and status meetings padded into invoices until the work costs more than the impact. This isn’t a beer at Wrigley Field — it shouldn’t be marked up 400% because someone can.
Why we do this
Most teams are stuck paying retainers for WordPress babysitting, social media slides, and vague “maintenance.” We knew there was a better way — AI can automate the boring parts, real engineers can handle the critical ones, and every hour can be logged with receipts. Our mission is simple: slash the cost of shipping software while raising the quality bar.

- Custom Pods: Mobile apps, SaaS platforms, and AI copilots delivered at honest hourly rates, with playbooks you can reuse without us.
This build log will track our releases, share teardown audits of overpriced stacks, and publish the tactics we use to deliver results without the agency markup.
